POST 23: Vision Board (Research)

I am getting over the technical barriers now to the stage of creative development.

I have collected some images that have inspired me in some way during my online browsing. The things that inspire me most is the quality of the images and the dynamics of the compositions.

POST 22: Technical barriers (Development)

I have never worked with dense and complicated models before so now I am facing a lot of new technical barriers including re-topology, UV mapping, displacement mapping, rigging and rendering. These things have taken a lot of my time and at this moment of my work I am getting to the final production.

A quick shot of planning re-topology.

POST 21: Modelling Development

Experimenting with sculpting the torso and arms.

This is my arm sculpting practise keeps close attention to my reference.

Also following all the tutorials I can find I have build a male's anatomy by muscle groups.

Here are a few renders of the model with all the muscles.

POST 20: Figurative (experimentation)

Again.... another inspiration that gets me on another venture. After looking at sculpture the figurative sculptures inspired me the most. This is a risky decision but do I follow my inspiration and learn how to digitally sculpt the human figure? Here is my first try to see how it feels.

Here is my first practice on sculpting an arm.

POST 19: Sculpture (Experimentation)

A bit of a procrastinating liar I am - I have not started my final piece yet so I have surrendered to the journey that this project has for me. These are the sculptural experiments.

That was fun!
