From a young age I have had a lot of fun with pencils then skipped all the painting, screen-printing, ect. straight into computer art, starting with Microsoft Paint, drawing Dragonball Z characters. I was working with pixels at a time with the line and fill tool... aeeeehhhh. Years pass and now I am creating CG3D (computer generated 3D) scenes and animations.
There are moments of inspiration from an external sources or internal thoughts/feelings that wish to be manifested, preferably in art form. I have the opportunity with 3D software to transmute my inspiration into life-like realistic images. With other tools and techniques I can only create artsy representations of what I vision. This video I found is a great example of what it means to bring your imagination to life in full detail.

This is nuts. Not only is this person (?) doing all the modeling, texturing, lighting, cameras, compositing est. his animation is top stuff also.
